Penn State football has yet to win a Big Ten game so far this season, starting off 0-3 after most recently losing to USC at home in Week 6. Saturday afternoon is an opportunity for the Nittany Lions (3-3, 0-3 Big Ten) to get back in the win column since non-conference play and take home a big victory on the road over Michigan, a team that also fell out of the AP Top 25 Poll.
The Wolverines enter this contest coming off a Week 6 bye. They barely scraped by with a Week 1 win over Western Michigan and won the next two non-conference games vs. Oklahoma and UTEP. However, they've been on a losing streak since Big Ten play started. One of these teams will break that streak on Saturday.
Penn State take its bye week following Week 7, giving the team a chance to regroup and try and finish out the rest of the season on a high note to make a non-playoff bowl game.
