The 2026 NFL Draft officially concluded late on Saturday, April 25. Some Penn State football players heard their names called while others enter the chaos of undrafted free agency.
Here's where the former Nittany Lions who entered their names into the draft stand after Day 3:
Round 1, No. 14 overall: G Olaivavega Ioane
Ioane was the first Penn Stater off the board, expectedly so. The Baltimore Ravens selected him 14th overall in the first round, which is where he was mocked consistently throughout the pre-draft process.

Round 3, No. 76 overall: QB Drew Allar
Allar fell into the third round, which is still a very good spot for him given the downsides to his game. Former Nittany Lion Joey Porter Jr. announced the Pittsburgh Steelers' selection, officially keeping Allar in Pennsylvania.

Round 4, No. 112 overall: OT Drew Shelton
The Dallas Cowboys selected Shelton, the first Penn Stater off the board in Day 3 of the draft. While Dallas is known for picking up offensive linemen in every draft hoping one will stick and be the protection quarterback Dak Prescott needs, Shelton has his opportunity to prove that he's that guy.

Round 4, No. 120 overall: EDGE Dani-Dennis Sutton

Round 5, No. 151 overall: S Zakee Wheatley
Wheatley fell in the fifth round. The Carolina Panthers selected him 151st overall. The safety could've been a Day 2 pick, meaning Carolina got a steal in this draft. Especially with him falling into Round 5, the Panthers are lucky Wheatley was available at their next pick.
Round 5, No. 165 overall: RB Nicholas Singleton
The Tennessee Titans picked the first of the dynamic running back duo in the draft. Singleton's lackluster 2025 season definitely sunk his draft stock, but he got his NFL opportunity nonetheless.
Round 5, No. 181 overall: DT Zane Durant
The Buffalo Bills picked up Durant in the fifth round. In a defense that's undergoing transition with new defensive coordinator Jim Leonhard switching from a 4-3 to a 3-4, the tackle can come in handy.
Round 6, No. 187 overall: RB Kaytron Allen
Capping off the draft for the Nittany Lions, Allen went in a spot where he was expected to. Even after a 2025 senior season that saw his explosiveness and spark come to life, Day 3 was always the sweet spot for the running back. The Washington Commanders can mold him into the rusher they need.
