The Nittany Lions defense came up big again as they shut out Indiana 24-0 on Saturday night.

Turnovers, a turnover on downs and a blocked field goal helped Penn State Football keep the shutout intact, as the first team defense continues to rank as one of the best in the country.

On offense, it wasn’t perfect, but the run game finally got going with the Nittany Lions racking up 209 yards on the ground. Quarterback Sean Clifford played fine, going 17-33 for 178 yards, three touchdowns and an interception. It was a step down from his last two performances against Auburn and Villanova, but if we’re considering this a down performance, then Clifford has proven he’s improved.

Star wide out Jahan Dotson had another big game with eight catches for 84 yards and two scores. He and Clifford now hold the record for most touchdowns by a quarterback, receiver duo in Penn State history with 18.

Their toughest test yet awaits them as Penn State will head to Iowa this weekend. With the way Clifford is playing and how dominant the defense has been, this will be quite the game.
