Ohio State Buckeyes running back TreVeyon Henderson (The Columbus Dispatch) /

Previous: 3rd. Buckeyes . 3. team. 812. . 4-1 (2-0)

The Buckeyes are starting to look like the Buckeyes again.

Quarterback C.J. Stroud returned from injury and looked just fine, going 17-23 for 330 yards and five touchdowns as Ohio State drilled Rutgers 52-13.

The Buckeyes defense seems to have found a groove as they held Rutgers to 13 points and forced three turnovers. Obviously, Rutgers doesn’t have the most talented offense, but this was still another step in the right direction for a defense that struggled early in the year.

With Stroud back and Treveyon Henderson looking like the lead running back, this offense is likely  the most the dangerous one in the conference.

Their loss to Oregon looks a little worse now that the Ducks have a loss, but this team has the capability to run the table and find themselves back in the playoff.

With Maryland up next, this team has another opportunity to get better.
