Big Ten power rankings entering Week 6: Iowa and Penn State ready to face off
Michigan reeled off another impressive win with a 38-17 victory in Madison over Wisconsin.
While the running game wasn’t as dominant as we’ve seen, Cade McNamara got going with a 17-28, 197-yards, two-touchdown performance. Backup JJ McCarthy also got in on the fun, completing a 56-yard touchdown pass.
Michigan actually only led 13-10 at half, but outscored Wisconsin 25-7 in the second half to close the game out. The Wolverines defense stood tall again, forcing three turnovers and six sacks. David Ojabo led the way with 2.5 of those sacks.
It looks as though the second half struggles Michigan faced against Rutgers are behind them and they continue to roll. An interesting matchup with Nebraska awaits Michigan this week. With the passing game now clicking, the Wolverines can make some serious noise.
