As head coach Matt Campbell's class comes together, which is currently ranked 24th across the country, per 247Sports rankings, there's a four-star wide receiver target's commitment that the Nittany Lions are anticipating.

Taylor spoke with Sean Fitz of Blue White Illustrated and said Penn State was not only a top school, but a team he considers as his No. 1.

Campbell got to work quickly, re-offering the wide receiver on Dec. 17, 2025. Taylor visited Happy Valley for the squad's Junior Day on Jan. 24 and has been high on the Nittany Lions under Campbell's leadership. He has an official visit lined up with them over the weekend of June 5, but has not shut out other programs, such as Georgia, Nebraska, and Syracuse.

Taylor is ranked 70th overall across the country, 13th among wide receivers, and fourth out of recruits from Pennsylvania, per 247Sports Composite rankings. Rivals Industry Rankings has him slotted in the same spots, but has him ranked at No. 73 nationally instead. He's expected to land with the Nittany Lions, as predicted by Rivals (46.3 percent chance) and Tom Loy of 247Sports.

Following the announcement of Gleason Jr.'s commitment to the blue and white, Taylor hinted at a potential decision of his own. Both the cornerback and wide receiver are Pennsylvania natives, and Taylor was clearly in support of his peer's choice to go to Penn State.

In 2025, Taylor had 33 receptions for 571 yards and 16 touchdowns, averaging 17.3 yards per catch and 47.6 yards per game over 12 contests. He also play defensive back for Pine-Richland High School, logging 22 tackles, four passes defensed, three interceptions, three tackles for loss, and one sack as a junior in addition to his statistics on offense.
