In response to Gleason's announcement, wide receiver Khalil Taylor hinted at the possibility that he, too, will commit to the Nittany Lions. He reposted the commitment post from Hayes Fawcett of On3 paired with the eyes emoji and nothing else.

Four-star wide receiver Khalil Taylor hints at possibility of committing to Penn State
While Taylor has seemed to lean towards the blue and white ever since head coach Matt Campbell was hired and got to work recruiting, he has not made any official commitment or expressed any hints of shutting out other teams. He has five official visits scheduled for the spring/summer session, starting with Colorado and Georgia, and ending with Nebraska and Syracuse. Taylor will be in Happy Valley again over the weekend of June 5, which is his third visit lined up.
The Pittsburgh, Penn. wide receiver is ranked 73rd overall in the Class of 2027 and 13th at his position, per Rivals Industry Ranking. The four-star recruit is also the No. 4 prospect from Pennsylvania. Rivals currently has Penn State leading the group of potential homes for Taylor with a 45.7 percent chance at landing him. Nebraska is second at 11.4 percent and the Orange are listed at 7.9 percent.
Despite remaining open and only teasing at potentially committing to the Nittany Lions, Taylor continues returning to the squad. Per 247Sports, he attended a spring practice at Penn State on Thursday, March 26 and is already planning his return before any official visits. He will be back at a spring practice at some point. Taylor previously visited campus for the Nittany Lions' Junior Day.
With recent events, including his intriguing social media reaction to a fellow Pennsylvania native committing to Penn State, Campbell has the upper hand in his recruitment compared to other teams. He can't afford to lose it as he just starts putting the Nittany Lions 2027 recruitment class back together.
