Penn State is hopeful that they can continue to build on their recruiting class with the addition of now former Oregon commit WR Tyseer Denmark. It was reported on Sunday that Denmark has officially de-committed from the Ducks and he was on campus this past weekend as well. The insiders have called this a surprise visit, but adding Denmark would be massive for Penn State.

The Nittany Lions are trying to convince the Philadelphia native to stay in his home state and at the very least they have made him reconsider his options after this weekend. Denmark is the first of several other dominos that are expected to fall over the next few weeks at wide receiver at Penn State.

He attends Roman Catholic high school in Philadelphia and when you turn on the tape you can see why he is one of the top prospects in the state. Denmark is currently a 4-star recruit according to 247sports and he is ranked as the 3rd player overall in Pennsylvania.

His wide receiver skills are outstanding on film. He has great hands to secure the catch, he also can create a ton of yards after the catch. At Roman Catholic not only is he used in the receiving game, but he also has quite a few jet sweep packages as well. With the ball in his hands, every touch feels like it has big play potential.

The Nittany Lions have done an outstanding job with the foundation of the 2024 recruiting class, now it’s time to start adding some of the finishing touches before the season begins.
