Key player on offense – Parker Washington (WR)

Parker Washington hauled in two passes for a total of 30 yards in the first quarter against Purdue, but was held in check for the remainder of that game. As a result, getting him going was one of our keys to success against the Bobcats.

If one of our keys to success is getting Parker Washington going, it would only make sense for him to be one of the key players for the game.

Though Mitchell Tinsley is uber-talented and had a great game in week one, last week was only the second time in Washington’s Penn State Football career that he didn’t have Jahan Dotson commanding a lot of attention, so much of the focus was towards him.

The third year wideout is more than capable of getting open–especially against Ohio–and can also make contested catches as we have seen in the past. With the ball in his hands, he is dangerous and will probably be unlike anything that any Ohio defensive back has gone up against before.

If Parker Washington can settle in and play his type of game in week two, he can help this offense score a lot of points early and put this game away relatively quickly–which is what us fans want and what the team needs so the starters can rest with a trip to Auburn on the horizon.
