Key player on defense – Adisa Isaac (DE)

Another one of our keys to success against Ohio is being able to create negative plays, especially in the sack department as the Bobcats figure to lean heavily on the right arm of Kurtis Rourke.

Expectations were high for Adisa Isaac entering the season, but he was quiet in week one at Purdue, which is understandable considering it was his first game since 2020.

However, now that he’s had an opportunity to knock some rust off, it’s time for the former blue-chip recruit to start looking like the player we all know he can be.

What better way to start than having plenty of opportunities to rush the passer in a matchup against a team that is far less talented than you are?

A big game by Adisa Isaac not only would help to shut down the Bobcats’ offense, but could also help him gain confidence and be a springboard for him to have a very impactful season for the Nittany Lions.
