In 2021, Penn State Football had one of the best defenses in the nation, but there will be a lot of new faces that are expected to make an impact this year as many of last year’s key contributors have moved on to the NFL. 

Recently, we took a look at the Nittany Lions’ offense, and made the judgement on whether each position group would be better or worse than they were a year ago. Now it’s time to do the same for the defense and decide if, based strictly on personnel, each unit will improve or regress.
