With Penn State Football in desperate need of some offensive improvements in 2022, we will take a look at each position group on offense and decide if they each figure to be better or worse than they were last season.

We won’t even consider any of them remaining the same, because as Joe Paterno once said “you’re gonna get better or you’re gonna get worse, but you’re not gonna stay the same”.

The Nittany Lions only lost one true superstar from last year’s offense – Jahan Dotson – but will that truly hurt the wide receiver room?

They also return all of their tight ends from a year ago. How will that effect the unit?

Finally, Penn State is in desperate need of overall personnel improvements at quarterback, running back, and along the offensive line. Will they get it in 2022?

Let’s take a look at if each offensive position group for Penn State Football will be better or worse this year than last, and use that to determine whether or not the offense as a whole can take step forward.
