Yazeed Haynes is someone we’ve talked about a lot, and we’re going to continue to do that.

A week after camping at Penn State and earning an offer, Haynes is expected to take an official visit back to Penn State this weekend. That is according to Brandon Walker of Nittany Sports Now.

This is a big development for the Nittany Lions as Haynes has started to rise to the top of the wide receiver board. He impressed at the camp last week, running a 4.39 40-yard dash time and building a strong connection with Penn State quarterback commit Marcus Stokes.

Haynes has seen his ranking increase this week as well. He’s now the No. 612 player in the 247 Sports Composite after being rated in the 1,000’s at the start of the week.

The Rutgers de-commit looks bound to pop off this summer, which is why Penn State’s staff will work to seal this one up as soon as possible. If Haynes announces a commitment date after this weekend, or commits on the spot, Penn State should feel good. Otherwise, this could be a battle as other schools likely come into play.
