WR Yazeed Haynes

Yazeed Haynes is someone we’ve talked about a lot lately.

The recent Rutgers de-commit camped at Penn State this past weekend and left with an offer from the Nittany Lions.

According to his Twitter, Haynes ran a 4.39 second 40-yard dash time at the camp. That speed, along with his 6-foot-1 frame, makes him hard for defenses to stop. Obviously, the Penn State Football staff agreed as they offered him on the spot.

Right now, the Fort Washington, PA product is rated as the No. 1,059 player in the 247 Sports Composite, but that is likely to change. Rivals already updated Haynes to a 4-star on Tuesday and it wouldn’t be a surprise to see the other recruiting services give him a bump soon.

It looks like Haynes is poised for a break-out summer, which is why the Nittany Lions will work to seal this one up soon.
