Penn State has no room

Penn State football did not see as much roster turnover as was expected.

Taking a full 25-man recruiting class, along with having Sean Clifford and Johnathan Sutherland come back for a sixth season didn’t leave a lot of room for transfers.

Penn State ended up adding three transfers from the portal, including a wide receiver in Mitchell Tinsley. Even if Penn State wanted to add Addison, they really don’t have the room to do so as not that many players transferred out of Penn State.

To say Penn State would pass on a star like Addison is crazy, but without an open roster spot, there’s not much they can do.

If a roster spot did become available, the Nittany Lions would certainly try to get in the mix for Addison. Keep in mind though that Penn State still needs help at offensive tackle and linebacker, although there’s currently not an intriguing option at either position in the portal.

With the addition of Tinsley and already having a solid wide receiver corps of Parker Washington, Keandre Lambert-Smith and Malick Meiga, receiver just isn’t a dire need for the Nittany Lions.
