1. The Original Colors

During the 2020-2021 season of transition, Penn State wore alternate pink and black jerseys for nearly every road game.  No one ever really stated why this occurred outside of that year being particularly difficult after the administration fired Pat Chambers just before the season started.

The pink and black jerseys were alternate jerseys introduced during the Pat Chambers era, usually reserved for big games.  They had quite a run of success for a while (along with the other alternate jerseys, the all-gray jersey, and shorts).  Could the teasing of the new jerseys take a piece of either of these pre-existing jersey concepts?

It would probably be a bit much to advertise a ‘new look’ only to recycle some of the jersey concepts we’ve already seen but since spending tons of money on basketball isn’t really something we see every day, it’s very possible they’ll use components we’ve already seen.
