Predicting Penn State Hoop’s New Uniforms

Penn State Basketball announced new uniforms are coming next season, but what can fans expect them to look like?

Penn State Basketball jerseys have remained relatively consistent for the past 15 years, with the only real change being a solid stripe down each side instead of the more of a checkered line during the Ed DeChellis era.

Jerseys have a strong sense of tradition in Happy Valley.  Both the football uniforms and the helmets of the football team across the street consistently rank in almost every ‘top-10‘ list.

Harkening back to the Joe Paterno days, the school is known for their ‘black shoes, basic blues and no names’, outside of the first year under Bill O’Brien where names were added to the football jerseys to recognize those that stuck with the school after the draconian NCAA sanctions were announced.

So, what will Penn State basketball’s new uniforms look like?  Victory Bell Rings will take three guesses as to what could be featured for the upcoming 2022-2023 season.
