Penn State Basketball could be without a key player, Greg Lee, Tuesday night against Michigan

Penn State Basketball’s Greg Lee posted a picture in a walking boot on his Instagram Tuesday afternoon.

While missing the start of the year, Greg Lee has played at least 20 minutes every game since January 5th, averaging 7.8 points and 6.9 rebounds per game.  He has been crucial to the success of the Penn State frontcourt, providing support for John Harrar both defensively and showing a nice shooting touch (75% from the stripe and 5 games with at least one made three-pointer).

In the last 6 games, he brought down 12-8-8-6-8-9 rebounds, showing his presence on the glass.  If he is unable to play, will this mean Head Coach Micah Shrewsberry is forced to play more Jevonnie Scott, who hasn’t played since the January 26th bloodbath at Indiana or Jalanni White, who hasn’t seen more than 10 minutes of game action since January 11.

Of course, just wearing a walking boot doesn’t mean he will miss tonight’s game, pairing the picture, the timing of the post, and the text “Can’t catch a break for nun lol” doesn’t look good for his appearance in Tuesday night’s whiteout game vs Michigan at the Bryce Jordan Center.
