Landon Tengwall – Offensive Line

The Nittany Lions top ranked recruit in the 2020 class, Tengwall will have a starting job along the offensive line next season it’s just a matter of where.

Tengwall was a four-star prospect at tackle coming out of high school but some think he projects better as a guard at the collegiate level, but we got a look at him at both positions in 2021.

The redshirt freshman saw time at left tackle against Rutgers and was a bright spot, so much so head coach James Franklin went out of his way in his weekly press conference to give Tengwall a shout-out for his solid play. In the Outback Bowl he saw reps inside at left guard and was strong in that time as well.

With the offensive line as a question mark heading into the offseason, he will nail down a role whether its guard or at right tackle replacing Caeden Wallace who struggled last season, Tengwall is going to be a star for Penn State Football.

Listed at six-foot-six and 326 pounds he is built to play guard or tackle at this level.
