Another Penn State Basketball game canceled

Penn State Basketball has had yet another game, Wednesday night’s clash with Delaware State, canceled due to COVID-19
Will Penn State Basketball ever play again?
Penn State Basketball announced Wednesday’s game vs Delaware State has been canceled due to COVID-19 issues within the Hornet program.
This comes after the Nittany Lions had their own positive tests and were forced to cancel games at VCU and a home matchup vs Quinnipiac. None of these games will be rescheduled.
The announcement came just one day after Micah Coach Shrewsberry announced that not all Lions were out of protocol but that they’d be playing with whoever was cleared Wednesday night.
Penn State Basketball will now have three weeks off between getting creamed by Michigan State on the 11th and hosting Indiana on January 2nd.
The Nittany Lions are 5-5 on the season, struggling to find consistency under this new regime. Shrewsberry has started multiple different lineups while trying to navigate the return of both Greg Lee (played at MSU) and Jevonnie Scott (has been ‘cleared’ but hasn’t seen the floor yet).
The game at VCU was Penn State’s best chance for a quality non-conference win.
With the non-conference schedule now complete, Penn State’s only win vs a power-5 school wws neutral site game vs Oregon State and best win metric-wise was home vs Wagner.
Penn State Basketball will need to go 9-11 in conference to finish .500. The Nittany Lions are already 0-2 in conference thus far.
