Penn State Football Running Backs

Grade: C+

This group has been the biggest surprise — and disappointment — of the team thus far.

Coming into the season, this was seen as the strong point of the team with a stable of four running backs. But, to this point no single ball carrier has stepped up to be the guy, and Penn State Football has struggled mightily on the ground.

As a team they have only rushed for 770 yards and a mere 3.7 yards per carry. Sophomore Keyvone Lee leads the team in rushing with 204 yards while Noah Cain is right behind with 202 yards but has almost double the carries of Lee.
