Penn State Football returns to top 10 in the nation

Penn State Football continues to move up in the AP poll rankings after dismantling Ball State on Saturday afternoon 

Penn State Football climbs up to No. 10 in the latest AP poll rankings released Sunday, setting up a big time show down next weekend in Happy Valley as the Nittany Lions host No. 22 Auburn.

The Nittany Lions have impressed voters with a huge road win in Week 1 over Wisconsin and now a true handle your business type win, taking down Ball State 44-13.

The Cardinals are a solid MAC team and Penn State Football did exactly what they needed to do.

Penn State Football now sits one spot behind Ohio State, who fell to no. 9 after they fell to the Oregon Ducks at hone Saturday, while Iowa — who Penn State Football will see in October — has risen all the way to No. 5 after two ranked wins to start the year.

If the Nittany Lions can win Saturday over a ranked Auburn team, they could be set to vault into the top seven or so, depending on what happens around the country.

Beaver Stadium should be quite the scene Saturday night, especially in White Out conditions and following ESPN College GameDay’s return to Happy Valley bright and early Saturday morning.
