ESPN College GameDay coming to Penn State Football vs. Auburn Week 3

Penn State Football will host ESPN College GameDay next Saturday, prior to that evening’s clash with Auburn inside Beaver Stadium

Get up, Happy Valley, ESPN College GameDay is returning to State College ahead of Penn State Football’s showdown vs. Auburn next Saturday afternoon.

The popular college football pre-game show returns to showcase the Penn State Football White Out game for the sixth consecutive season, and second year in a row, but there will be something much different about Reece Davis, Kirk Herbstreit, Desmond Howard and Lee Corso’s trip to Penn State this year; fans.

Last season, the ESPN College GameDay crew set up inside Beaver Stadium ahead of the Nittany Lions‘ game against the Ohio State Buckeyes.

In all likelihood, ESPN College GameDay will return to the lawn of Old Main, now that fans are back in the stands for the 2021 season.

Herbstreit has frequently lauded the Penn State Football WhiteOut as the greatest spectacle in college football. Saturday’s game could be an even more electric atmosphere following Penn State Football’s unbeaten start to the season, and all of the pent-up enthusiasm from last season’s pandemic-impacted campaign.

Both Penn State Football and Auburn enter Saturday’s Week 3 contest unbeaten, following Penn State Football’s 44-13 win over Ball State on Saturday afternoon, and Auburn’s route of Alabama State.

Don’t be surprised if the Nittany Lion, the Blue Band, Penn State Football head coach James Franklin, and the famous grilled stickies all make their appearance on stage of ESPN College GameDay, as some of the best aspects of the Penn State Football tailgate experience are highlighted on the pre-game show extravaganza.
