3. Marquis Wilson Could be a Special Weapon

We talked earlier about how the emergence of King and others has Marquis Wilson trying out offense now.

Wilson took a jet sweep in the scrimmage, but it was blown up. He also caught a couple passes and was targeted multiple times.

Having an athlete like Wilson capable of playing both sides of the ball is a luxury for James Franklin and his staff. Add in that he’s capable of returning punts and kicks, and you have one of the most well-rounded players on your team.

With second team receiver reps up for grabs, Wilson will have an opportunity to solidify his role with the offense over the Summer and in Fall camp.

He is no doubt going to be a name to keep an eye on over the next few months.
