4. Arnold Ebiketie was a Big Acquisition

Arnold Ebiketie, the defensive end transfer from Temple, had a nice game on Saturday with a couple would-have-been  sacks and multiple plays blown up at the line of scrimmage or behind it.

After losing both starting defensive ends to the NFL this off-season, it was vital that Franklin brought in an experienced player at the position.

There were multiple targets in the portal back in December, but the Nittany Lions prioritized Ebiketie from the second he entered the portal.

If Ebikeite’s dominance on the practice field translates over to the games, Penn State will look wise for grabbing him.

The defensive end expected to start opposite of Ebiketie, Adisa Isaac, also had a strong performance on Saturday. This duo has a chance to take this offense to the next level.
