2. The Offense has Plenty of Weapons

While some may say the quarterback position is still a question mark, the rest of the offense sure isn’t.

Even with running backs Noah Cain and John Lovett not playing on Saturday, there was plenty of fireworks during the scrimmage.

Running back Devyn Ford returned a kick for a touchdown, while Keyvone Lee was bouncing off guys left and right. Even Tank Smith, projected to be sixth of the running back depth chart, looked impressive, scoring a couple touchdowns and breaking a few long runs.

As for the wide receivers, it wasn’t Jahan Dotson or Parker Washington doing all the damage. Daniel George had an impressive one-handed grab and then backed it up with a 21-yard over the shoulder touchdown catch from Roberson. Cameron Sullivan-Brown as looked good, making an off-balanced catch.

The tight end group should continue to be a strength. Brenton Strange caught a wide-open 45-yard touchdown pass from Clifford, while Tyler Warren had a handful of catches and moved well down field.
