9. Greg Schiano – Rutgers Scarlet Knights

Back for his second stint with Rutgers it did not take long for Schiano to make his presence felt as the Scarlet Knights went on the road and upset Michigan State in week 1.

Rutgers finished 3-6 last season but easily could have won a few games they ended up losing, including a triple overtime game against Michigan. They no longer looked like the conference doormat that the blue bloods will just roll over, and that is a big step in the right direction for the program.

The next proverbial step will be to match the coaching improvement with talent infusion to a roster that was void of almost any even four star players. Keeping talent home in the state of New Jersey and away from Penn State Football and Michigan, will be his big challenge.

Getting the Scarlet Knights to a bowl game would be a huge accomplishment.
