Building a roster

After his only 11 minutes of prepared comments, his first question was if he had definitive answers on any of Penn State player’s on the portal.

"“I’ve talked to every single one of the guys who have entered and we are actively trying to get them back.  We are actively recruiting as well.  My goal is to have a great team in place when we tip off next season.  There are a lot of great players that are out there.  We want our own but we also want people that have two feet in, that are our guys.”"

He also spoke about Philadelphia, stating about PSU’s great success there but mentioned if a player fits the values of Penn State, he’ll recruit the whether he’s from Philadelphia or Hawaii.  He also stated that the guys in your locker room are your best recruiters and that he won’t be going for the “quick fix.”
