Penn State Football Recruiting: Something big seems to be brewing in 2022

Penn State’s 2022 recruiting class has been a pleasant surprise over the past few months.

Despite Penn State being 4-5 on the field this past season, they seem to have succeeded in winning over many of their top targets in the 2022 recruiting cycle.

The class currently has eight commits, all of them are four stars. Not only are these commits highly rated, but they are also very vocal, and seem to be doing a lot of peer recruiting.

Penn State has had vocal commits in the past, Shane Simmons in 2016 and Landon Tengwall in 2021, to name a couple. What separates the 2022 class, is that it’s the entire class doing it.

The commits have been dropping hints on Twitter over the past couple of days. There’s a lot of possible reasons as to why. There’s also some other notable recruiting news to get to.
