Drew Allar's NFL home has changed mock draft to mock draft.
The Medina, Ohio native said playing for the Cleveland Browns would be a dream for his childhood self, but going No. 1 overall is a stretch given the talent in the 2026 NFL Draft class. Allar could be a late first-round pick going to the Los Angeles Rams, according to ESPN's Matt Miller's mock draft in June.
Now, a new ESPN mock draft put the Nittany Lion somewhere in the middle. The Browns will more than likely select a quarterback with their first pick, but with LaNorris Sellers, Cade Klubnik, Garrett Nussmeier, and potentially Arch Manning, Allar might need to sit that pick out.
According to Field Yates, he has the quarterback going right before Cleveland's second first-round pick. For Allar, that would mean reuniting with a certain star-studded tight end.
ESPN predicts Drew Allar goes No. 11 overall to the Indianapolis Colts in recent mock draft
If Penn State's third-year starter gets picked No. 11 overall, he'd have former Nittany Lion Tyler Warren waiting for him in Indianapolis. The Colts are in need of a reliable starter, and they don't have that in Daniel Jones or Anthony Richardson Sr..
Warren especially would benefit immensely with a solid quarterback. In his second NFL Preseason game, fans saw the tight end make a 25-yard catch along the sidelines from Jones, but they also saw the starting quarterback's first pass that went right over Warren's head who was wide open. Fans immediately took to social media to express their irritation with the lack of talent around Warren. The tight end isn't the issue, and his transition into the NFL doesn't seem to be causing him any trouble. Without a worthy starter under center, though, there's not much the rookie can accomplish.
Warren made 104 receptions for 1,233 yards and eight touchdowns in 2024. He was Allar's consistent target and having that pre-installed comfortability and chemistry with each other could help the rising senior transition into the pros and have a solid start as a rookie in 2026. Allar has his whole senior season ahead of him. While his performance might not land him the No. 1 overall spot in the 2026 NFL Draft. It opens a door for the Colts to grab him and put him back into action in a blue and white jersey with Warren.
