Penn State football had defensive lineman Sean Saint Fleur on campus for an unofficial spring visit on Saturday, April 11. The Nittany Lions extended him an offer as well on the same day the lineman observed practice.
Penn State football moves up the ranks on blue chip running back's list
Saint Fleur is currently an unranked prospect from the Class of 2027 from Hyattsville, Md. He plays defensive tackle and defensive end for DeMatha Catholic High School. He has received offers from 18 programs, including Virginia Tech, Maryland, Colorado, and Missouri. The Hokies are favored as of mid-April to land his commitment, per 247Sports, but Penn State might not be too far behind.

Penn State football works on penciling in official visit for defensive lineman Sean Saint Fleur
After the Nittany Lions extended Saint Fleur an offer during his spring practice visit, Tyler Calvaruso of Lions247 reported that it's possible for an official visit being in the works for the spring/summer session.
Ryan Snyder of Blue White Illustrated reported that Saint Fleur will "definitely" take an official visit to Penn State.
Virginia Tech is the only school Saint Fleur has an official visit scheduled with. He's slated to visit the Hokies over the weekend of June 5. The blue and white are now in contention for his commitment as well, as reported by Calvaruso who stated that Penn State is "high on his list."
In 2025, Saint Fleur logged 8.5 tackles, six quarterback pressures, four tackles for loss, two fumble recoveries, and 1.5 sacks.
He previously took unofficial visits to Virginia Tech, Maryland, Rutgers, and UNC. Saint Fleur visited the Hokies and Scarlet Knights twice unofficially in 2025. He also visited the Nittany Lions back in Nov. 2024 when Virginia Tech head coach James Franklin was still at State College. It's likely that head coach Matt Campbell will have a recruitment battle with the former blue and white head coach down the line.
Penn State's 2027 recruiting class is made up of all defensemen, excluding four-star wide receiver Landon Blum. Saint Fleur would join defensive lineman Carter Blattner, linebacker Blake Betton, and cornerbacks Ka'ron Ceasar, Zachary Gleason Jr., and Semajay Robinson. It's currently the 23rd overall recruiting class, as ranked by 247Sports.
