The 6-foot-7, 210-pound rising senior started in all 32 contests for the Chargers, averaging 30.3 minutes per game. He shot 40.9 percent from the field, 32 percent behind the arc, and 79.7 percent from the free throw line. Before Alabama Hunstville, Allard played at Lincoln Memorial, another Division II program. He spent three seasons there, including his redshirt freshman year. Allard comes to Happy Valley with one year of eligibility remaining, bringing experience onto the Nittany Lion court, which is something Rhoades emphasized as a priority for his upcoming season's roster.

After his performance as a Charger this past season, Allard earned Second-Team recognition in the All-Gulf South Conference. He helped lead Alabama Huntsville through the second round of the Division II NCAA Tournament, putting together a 23-10 overall record on the season.

At Lincoln Memorial, Allard was part of the 2024-25 squad that saw the Railsplitters win the South Atlantic Conference. They lost in the first round of the Division II NCAA Tournament. Allard played in 43 contests over his three seasons at Lincoln Memoiral beofre entering the Transfer Portal for his redshirt junior year.

Allard joins a Penn State roster that includes fellow transfers guard Roberts Blums out of Davidson, guard Jay Rodgers out of Central Connecticut State University, forward Brant Byers out of Miami (Ohio), and center Tim Oboh out of Buffalo. Allard is a good depth piece in this group, and having an experienced player is critical to have ready to go.
