FOX's Big Noon Kickoff announced its next stopmin the 2025 season. If things panned out how Penn State anticipated, it would have been the perfect spot to be. Instead, FOX decided that it was still the prime location to host the show. Who doesn't want to promote a shattered team of Nittany Lions facing the undefeated, reigning national champion, Ohio State?

The Buckeyes are No. 1 in the country and second in the Big Ten behind No. 2 Indiana. Both have undefeated records and are 4-0 in the conference. After the non-conference slate that started off defeating Texas, Ohio State beat Washington, Minnesota, No. 23 Illinois, and Wisconsin.
Though only one of these teams is ranked, the Nittany Lions can't say they've dominated any team in the Big Ten in any capacity. They lost to No. 6 Oregon, UCLA, Northwestern, and Iowa. They're currently floating at the bottom of the conference with the other 0-4 teams, Michigan State, Rutgers, Purdue, and Wisconsin.
Big Noon Kickoff didn't have a surplus of great options to choose from for Week 10. The other games and their conference records are:
- Rutgers (0-4) at No. 23 Illinois (2-2)
- No. 2 Indiana (4-0) at Maryland (1-3)
- Michigan State (0-4) at Minnesota (3-1)
- Purdue (0-4) at No. 25 Michigan (3-1)
- USC (3-1) at Nebraska (2-2)
Wanting to highlight an Ohio State v. Penn State game seems like the obvious choice, but not when the Nittany Lions are fighting for their lives and are already predicted to get embarrassed by the Buckeyes. More likely than not, that's exactly what's going to happen.
Big Noon Kickoff has a couple other games that would be worth going to over making the Week 10 match even more embarrassing for Penn State. The Trojans and Nebraska is a middle-of-the-pack contest that wouldn't be terrible. If FOX wants a ranked team in the mix, there's no harm in choosing the Hoosiers and Terrapins, even though their records are on opposite ends of the spectrum. At least it's not a complete 180-degree flip from one team to the next, and neither are undergoing any drama with their head coach.
