At 10-1, No. 4 Penn State is almost certainly one win away from locking up a spot in the 12-team College Football Playoff. Last week, the Nittany Lions escaped a potential upset spot on the road at Minnesota with a 26-25 win. Now, James Franklin’s team will wrap up their regular season at home at Beaver Stadium against 4-7 Maryland.

Maryland comes into this matchup riding a four-game losing streak under sixth-year head coach Mike Locksley. The Terrapins have lost back-to-back home games to Iowa and Rutgers and have not won on the road since beating Virginia 27-13 on September 14 in Charlottesville.

Penn State has dominated this matchup with Maryland, winning 43 of 47 matchups all-time, and has won eight of 10 since Franklin took over the program in 2014. The Nittany Lions dominated Maryland in College Park last season 51-15 and are looking to do the same with their CFP and Big Ten championship hopes still alive.

This matchup will be featured on Big Ten Network with a 3:30 p.m. ET kickoff in Happy Valley, and Penn State enters as a significant home favorite over the Terps. Penn State is currently favored by 24.5 points.

Who are the announcers for Penn State vs. Maryland?

Levering will be joined by color commentator Jake Butt, former Michigan Wolverine tight end, and sideline reporter Brook Fletcher.
