Four-star edge rusher Aidan O'Neil schedules official visit with Penn State
Four-star edge rusher Aidan O'Neil is one of these prospects penciled in to visit Happy Valley. He posted the announcement of his official visit on Twitter/X on Thursday, Feb. 19. O'Neill is scheduled to visit the Nittany Lions over the weekend of June 12-14.

O'Neil is ranked 211th from the Class of 2027, per 247Sports Composite rankings, and 21st among edge rushers. The Ramsey, N.J. native is also the fifth-ranked recruit out of New Jersey.
He previously visited Penn State on March 29, 2025 before the head coach change. The Nittany Lions under Virginia Tech head coach James Franklin extended their offer on March 12, 2025.
Aside from that unofficial visit back nearly a year ago, O'Neil only visited Kentucky for its Junior Day. The Wildcats offered the four-star prospect at the start of the new year on Jan. 11 and he went to their campus on Jan. 31. So far, Penn State is the only school O'Neil has an official visit scheduled with for the upcoming spring and summer cycle.
As a junior in 2025, O'Neil logged 54 total tackles over 12 games. He also had 16 tackles for loss and 7.5 sacks. While listed as a combo of defensive tackle and defense end, O'Neil is being recruited as an edge rusher at the collegiate level.
O'Neil is now part of a growing group of four- and five-star recruits giving Penn State and head coach Matt Campbell hope for the future. Offensive tackle Layton Von Brandt recently scheduled a spring visit for April 18 with the Nittany Lions and four-star cornerback Kei'Shjuan Telfair is visiting Happy Valley over the weekend of June 12 as well.
