On Sunday night, JUCO IOL Amaury Wiggins announced on his Twitter page that he has received an offer from Penn State.

Wiggins stands at 6’3 290 lbs and he is from Pensacola, Florida. He currently attends Coffeyville Community College located in Coffeyville, Kansas. According to the Red Raven’s official website, Wiggins appeared in four games during the 2022 season. He can play both guard and center positions as his Hudle profile has the tape of playing both positions from this past Spring.

What I noticed on tape is his ability to get to the next level and seal the edge. His snaps are always on target when his quarterback is in the shotgun, and he has excellent speed when pulling on run plays.

One of the more noticeable things about Wiggins is he has received a lot of Power 5 interest as of late. Within the past week, he has received offers from Mississippi State, LSU, Arkansas, Texas A&M, and now Penn State. I believe this is due to the fact that he graduates this month and teams are ready to get him on campus for a visit.

Versatility is the name of the game in football and Wiggins fits under that versatile umbrella. He played guard last season and now has reps at the center position from Spring practices. Being familiar with both roles will maximize his value as he enters the open market.

One of Wiggins’ former high school football coaches had nothing but great things to say about him on social media recently.

This is a name to watch out for as Penn State has been building up its offensive line from the recruiting standpoint in the 2023, 2024, and 2025 classes. Adding a player as talented as Wiggins who can play right away would add great depth on the Nittany Lions offensive line this fall.
