Penn State Football is looking to add to its promising 2024 recruiting class.

Penn State football is in the midst of the offseason, meaning recruiting is front and center for the coaching staff.

After a successful 2023 cycle, the Nittany Lions will look to put together a third straight elite recruiting class. Between the 2022 and 2023 classes, Penn State landed 48 commits, with three being 5-stars, 31 being 4-stars and 14 being 3-stars.

It looks as though Penn State may be on its way to adding to the 2024 class in the near future.

Kenneth Woseley Drops Top Group

On Friday, 4-star cornerback Kenneth Woseley released his top four schools. The Nittany Lions made the cut along with Michigan, Nebraska and Rutgers. The 5-foot-11 Woseley is a standout for Imhotep Institute in Philadelphia.

After releasing the top four, Woseley told Brian Dohn of 247 Sports that he will make his commitment announcement this upcoming Friday, Mar. 3.

If Penn State lands Woseley, he will be the third commit in the 2024 class. He would join 4-star OL Cooper Cousins and 4-star LB Anthony Specca. That would make the first three commits in the class all 4-stars and all from Pennsylvania.

Teammate Includes Penn State as Well

Woseley’s teammate, Zafir Stewart, also put Penn State in his top group over the weekend. The Nittany Lions join Nebraska and Rutgers in the 3-star offensive lineman’s top group. Listed at 6-foot-4 and 320 pounds, Stewart is certainly an intriguing interior prospect.

It’s unclear where he sits on the board for Penn State Football with the likes of Liam Andrews and William Satterwhite still out there. The Nittany Lions took four offensive linemen in the 2023 class, they will probably do the same in 2023 after ending up with just three offensive linemen from the 2021 and 2022 classes combined.

Obviously, if Woseley picks Penn State on Friday, the Nittany Lions’ chances with Stewart would increase as well.
