WR Keylen Adams

If there’s one state outside of Pennsylvania that the Nittany Lions have dominated recently in recruiting, it’s Virginia.

Penn State Football landed six of the top ten recruits in Virginia in the 2023 cycle and the Lions will be back for more in 2024.

One of the top targets in Virginia is 4-star WR Keylen Adams, who is rated as the No. 18 wide receiver in the country. He is listed at 6-foot-1 and 170 pounds and also has offers from the likes of Florida State, Miami, Michigan, Michigan State, North Carolina, Virginia, Virginia Tech and West Virginia.

Penn State only brought in one wide receiver in the 2023 class, making it important that first-year wide receivers coach Marques Hagans has plenty of success in 2024. Landing Adams would be a big start for Hagans.

Hagans was the wide receivers coach at Virginia, meaning him and Adams already have a relationship, which is an advantage for the Nittany Lions.

Between the need for an elite wide receiver like Adams, the fact that Penn State has raided Virginia lately and Hagans’ familiarity with Adams, losing this recruitment would be a tough blow for the Nittany Lions.
