3. A Hot Start to the 2024 Class

The ink is barely dry with the 2023 signees, but it’s never too early for Penn State Football to look ahead in recruiting.

We often hear about the need to stack talented classes. Penn State did that with the 2022 and 2023 classes, but the 2024 class will be just as important.

The Nittany Lions currently only have one 2024 commit in 4-star OL Cooper Cousins. Cousins is a great start to this class, but he’s probably getting a little lonely.

There is plenty of talent in Pennsylvania, Maryland, Virginia and New Jersey in the 2024 cycle for Penn State to go after. The Nittany Lions signed six top ten recruits in both Pennsylvania and Virginia in the 2023 class, they would certainly like to do that again.

Penn State still has another month left in the 2023 cycle before it officially comes to a close, but with how much talent is already in the class, it’s unlikely much more happens in this cycle. The majority of the attention will go to the 2024 class.

Winning the Rose Bowl would also help make recruiting the 2024 class a little easier for the staff.
