Running Back Nicholas Singleton 9/17 at Auburn

While the stat line isn’t as impressive as the Ohio game, this game was against an SEC opponent that many said Penn State would be unable to run against. Nicholas Singleton had 10 carries for 124 yards and two touchdowns.

The performance by Singleton really set the tone for the season for the Nittany Lions. The Auburn game was one that Penn State had to have to eventually end up going to the Rose Bowl. The Singleton performance not only solidified his status as the number one Running Back out of High School but also gave the offensive line confidence moving forward.
