3. 4-star Karmello English

Karmello English put Penn State in his top five back in April, he later committed to Auburn.

English decommitted from Auburn just days before Penn State crushed the Tigers 41-12. He certainly had to take notice of that.

Despite originally showing interest in Penn State, there hasn’t been much connecting English to Penn State since his decommitment. One connection between the two is that English is high school teammates with former Penn State commit Tomarrion Parker.

If Parker was still committed to Penn State, this could be a different story.

Rated as a 4-star, English is one of the highest rated uncommitted wide receivers in the 2023 class. The Nittany Lions would be wise to at least make a run at English considering there is a familiarity with his high school.

English recently visited Kentucky though, so it’s unclear if English has already narrowed down his list and is ready to make a decision. Kentucky is the only school English has publicly posted about visiting since his decommitment.
