What a day Kaytron Allen had on offense. Allen played like an absolute monster today and had arguably the biggest day on offense. Heading into the second quarter, Allen broke the tie and gave Penn State the 14-7 lead on an 11-yard touchdown run. But, he was far from finished.

Defense – Kobe King, LB
Kobe King had a stellar day for the Penn State defense. Last game, King had just three total tackles on one solo and two assists. Coming into this game, King had 13 total tackles off of four solo tackles, and nine assists.
He nearly doubled his numbers today, leading his team on defense with eight total tackles. Out of the eight total tackles, five were solos, and three were assists. King also had a quarterback hurry and did a good job at rushing quarterback.
Special Teams – Jake Pinegar, K
Jake Pinegar had an absolutely stellar day for the special teams unit. Pinegar finished the game, hitting six of six extra-point attempts. However, the biggest play for Pinegar came earlier on in the game, connecting with a big field goal to give the Nittany Lions the 24-7 lead.
This wasn’t just any other field goal though. This was a career-long for Jake Pinegar, as he connected with the field goal for 50 yards. This is a massive feat for any kicker, and Pinegar deserves the game ball because of his play today.
