1. 4-star OL Kevin Heywood (2024)

Penn State needs to add more depth at the offensive tackle position, and it will have a chance to do so with Kevin Heywood.

The 6-foot-7, 280-pound Heywood is from Warminster, PA and attends Archbishop Wood, usually one of the best programs on the eastern part of the state. He is rated as the No. 19 offensive tackle in the 247 Sports Composite and the No. 8 player in the state.

His other notable offers include Kentucky, Maryland, Michigan and Pitt. Heywood is a relatively new target, being offered back in June. Because his recruitment started to take off just this past summer, he hasn’t been to too many schools.

That means that the White Out will be the best atmosphere he’s seen during the recruiting process. That can hopefully leave a lasting impression for the Nittany Lions.

Penn State needs tackles and it needs to keep good talent home, this is a two for one deal right here with Heywood. Look for the Nittany Lions to try to close this one out sooner rather than later.
