The New Defensive Line will Impress.

The Penn State defense will welcome back several key defensive linemen from injury. The biggest of which being P.J. Mustipher. Adisa Isaac and Hakeem Beamon are also projected starters that missed last season.

P.J. Mustipher is the heart of the defense. He was injured against Iowa last season and missed the rest of the season. The Nittany Lions never looked the same after that game. Adisa Isaac and Hakeem Beamon are players we haven’t seen yet that the staff are excited about.

Penn State fans are going to hear a lot of new names this season on the defensive line. Chop Robinson, Dani Dennis-Sutton, Coziah Izzard, and Zane Durant, just to name a few.

Last but not least, the final bold prediction is…

The defensive line accumulates 5 sacks.

The Purdue offense is very one-dimensional. For Penn State Football to be successful, the defensive line is going to have to get pressure. The depth of this defensive line will be on full display. The Penn State defensive line will be fresh all game and will live in the backfield.
