Joseph Mupoyi

Hailing from Washington D.C. is 3-star defensive end Joseph Mupoyi.

Listed at 6-foot-5 and 210 pounds, Mupoyi is likely a multi-year project, but with that frame, the gamble could pay off.

His offer sheet is short, but full of quality names. His offers are Penn State, Miami, Michigan, Ole Miss, Rutgers and Maryland. Schools definitely see the potential Mupoyi has.

Mupoyi’s only recorded visit to Penn State was last September for the Whiteout game against Auburn. He took an official visit to Michigan back in June and recently visited Auburn, so it looks like more schools are trying to get involved here.

Considering August is a dead period for recruiting, the staff cannot get him on campus for a workout and visit right now. This would be a case where the staff may evaluate how his senior season goes and hope he hasn’t found a home yet.

Mupoyi is not headliner type recruit but could be a welcomed addition to this class.
