Penn State football must now go on the hunt for defensive ends after losing a key commitment in the 2023 class.

Penn State football received some devastating news on Tuesday when 4-star defensive end Tomarrion Parker decommitted from the Nittany Lions.

Committing back in June, Parker was seen as one of the key members in the 2023 class due to his high ranking and talent at the defensive end position. Penn State had missed on some top defensive end targets earlier in the cycle but made up for it by adding Parker.

Now, the Nittany Lions are in another bad spot.

The situation had already been rough at quarterback, wide receiver and offensive tackle, but defensive end can now be added to the list.

Despite the failures, the staff must go on and find suitable replacements for the losses at all four of these positions. We’ve already covered the possibilities at the other three, so today we will take a look at what lays ahead for Penn State football’s recruiting efforts at defensive end.
