Penn State football has put together another fantastic working class, but the work is not done.

Penn State football currently has the No. 9 recruiting class in the country for the 2023 cycle.

With 18 commits, the class is almost full, but some positions still need to be addressed.

The Nittany Lions had a ton of recruiting momentum early in the summer, but things have cooled off considerably as of late. The top two offensive tackle targets committed to rival Big Ten teams and multiple other targets have been predicted to go to other schools.

A good season should help fix this, but by then you’re just hoping to flip recruits committed to other schools. The days of recruits dragging out their recruitment until signing day is becoming a thing of the past.

With all that in mind, here’s a look at the positions that still need some help in the 2023 cycle.
