LB Anthony Speca

Penn State football hit a home run on linebacker recruiting in the 2023 cycle, landing its top two targets Tony Rojas and Ta’Mere Robinson.

It’s now time to start adding talent and depth behind those two and in-state linebacker Anthony Speca would be a great start to that.

The 4-star from Pittsburgh Central Catholic is listed at 6-foot-2 and 220 pounds. Speca has collected 17 offers already and has all the usual suspects in the region after him. Ohio State, Michigan, Notre Dame and Penn State are the schools showing the most interest in Speca so far.

Speca was at Penn State for Lasch Bash back at the end of July. That visit hopefully went well enough for the Nittany Lions to go ahead in his recruitment.

To date, Speca hasn’t set any kind of timeline for his recruitment, but that could change in the coming months.

Linebackers will continue to be an important position for the Nittany Lions to recruit.
