There’s finally some light at the end of the tunnel, as media days are a signal that the college football season is almost upon us.

The 2022 Big Ten media days will kick off today and extend into tomorrow, as we’ll get the opportunity to hear from coaches and players from all 14 teams, including Penn State Football.

James FranklinSean Clifford, PJ Mustipher, and Ji’Ayir Brown will represent the Nittany Lions on Wednesday.

Penn State, along with Ohio State, Michigan State, Rutgers, Purdue, Wisconsin, and Illinois, are scheduled to address the media on Wednesday.

Wednesday’s coverage of media days will begin at 11:00 a.m. EST on the Big Ten Network, with Purdue’s Jeff Brohm as the first head coach that is scheduled to speak.

James Franklin’s individual press conference is scheduled to take place from 12:00-12:15 p.m.

The coaches’ Q&A session will conclude at 12:45, and following that, each team’s representatives will partake in a sit-down group interview with members of the Big Ten Network, where we will get an opportunity to hear from the players themselves.

Surely there will be a variety of questions for James Franklin and his players to have to answer.

Every coach will likely be asked about some college football hot topics off the field, such as conference realignment and NIL. Sean Clifford himself will likely be asked about his NIL agency, Limitless, as well as his role in leading a group of athletes trying to negotiate revenue sharing.

Will Clifford be allowed to discuss Limitless, or will he request for questions to remain focused on football?

What will Franklin and co. have to say about looking for improvements along the offensive line and with the running game? What can we expect in year two of the Mike Yurcich offense?

On defense, how does PJ Mustipher feel after recovering from an ACL injury? How do the players feel in their first year under Manny Diaz?

We’re sure to get some answers and some insight into the mentality of James Franklin and his players as they prepare for the start of fall camp with the season kicking off just more than a month from now.
