Penn State football has had plenty of success with Pennsylvania running backs during the James Franklin era.

London Montgomery committed to Penn State football on Monday, becoming the sixth in-state running back to commit to the Nittany Lions under James Franklin.

These running backs have been key pieces in Penn State football’s success from 2016 to 2019. They all came from different parts of the state and have all have unique stories and all played a different role in Penn State’s offense.

In honor of Montgomery’s commitment, we’re going to take a look at the careers of the other five Pennsylvania running backs to sign with Penn State.
